• Decorah Summer Project: The Decorah Summer Project was a pre-church plant summer program comprised mostly of ISU college students focused on getting jobs, serving the community, and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. It ended with a bang over the weekend of Nordic Fest, by publicly announcing the birth of LifeHouse Church by way of a sweet parade float. Called “Too Much Rock for One Truck”, we linked two trucks back to back and had our band play Christian rock music as it traveled down Water St. To take a look, watch our video.
• Weekend Warrior Mission Trips: teams of students from Iowa State University and others from Ames have been taking trips up to Decorah and the surrounding area to help people in need and share the good news of Christ.
